Joanne Gyllen Joanne Marguerite House, 49, Topeka, Kan., formerly of Duluth, died Friday, June 16, 1995, in her home. She was born in Duluth, where she received a degree in social work from the College of St. Scholastica. She married Richard L. House on July 20, 1968, in Duluth. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Topeka, where she was a CCD instructor. She was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She is survived by her husband Richard L.; a son, Jason Richard, at home; two daughters, Colleen Annette House of Chicago and Andrea Marie House, at home; her parents, Howard and Lee Gyllen of Duluth; a brother, John Gyllen of St. Croix Falls, Wis.; and a sister, Patty Johnson of Duluth. Visitation will be from 2 until 9 p.m. Monday in Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home in Topeka, with 7 p.m. parish rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic Church in Topeka. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka. Memorials may be made to Christ the King School, Topeka.
