Ken Myre Kenneth J. (Schnarr) Myre, 55, of Duluth passed away Thursday, March 1, 2001, in his residence.
He was born Sept. 3, 1945, in Duluth and spent most of his life in the Duluth area. He was a 1963 graduate of Denfeld High School and proudly played goalie for the Denfeld Hunters hockey team.
Throughout Ken’s life, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, writing and had a wonderful sense of humor, which showed through his poetry and many rhymes.
He was preceded in death by his father, Keith Schnarr; stepfather, John “Jack” Myre; and a brother, Todd Myre..
Survivors include his mother, Joyce Myre of Duluth; a brother, Scott (Nancy) Myre of Hermantown; a sister, Becky (Pete) Shearer of Grand Canyon, Ariz., many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
