Claudia Jean 'Ki' Lelonek, 63, Duluth, died May 6, 2009 at St. Luke's Hospice.
She was born in Duluth on Oct. 14, 1945 to Arthur and Claire Robillard Walstrom.
She was a 1963 graduate of Denfeld High School. Claudia married Duane Lelonek in Duluth on Feb. 10, 1968. She was a 1987 graduate of Duluth Cosmetology Careers Unlimited and had been co-owner of the Country Charm Hair Salon in West Duluth. She later worked at Wells-Fargo, retiring after 10 years of service.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Claudia was an avid bowler at Stadium Lanes and enjoyed time at the cabins with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-mothe,r Olive M. Walstrom; brother-in-law, Patrick McManus; and step brother, Richard Swanson.
Claudia is survived by her son, Richard (Nicole), Duluth; daughter, Kelly (Todd) Nelson, Duluth; sister, Nanci McManus, Andover, Minn.; brothers, Tim (Sharon) Walstrom, Superior, Jeff (Bev) Walstrom, Hermantown; step brothers, Doug (Mary Jo) Swanson, Warba, Bill (Tanya) Swanson, Madison, Wis.; step sister, Kris (Kevin) Maxim, Duluth; grandma's little angels, Dylan, Alexys, Madison Paige, Zackary and Kate and many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Dr. Mark Eginton, Dr. Rachel Nelson, St. Luke's ICU and Hospice, for their loving care these last four months.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday with wake service 7 p.m. all in Holy Family Catholic Church, 2430 W. 3rd St., Duluth. Visitation continues from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday in Holy Family. Burial at Polish Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Williams-Lobermeier Funeral Home.
