Margaret “Peggy� Lillian Overlie (Godfrey)

Margaret (Peggy) Lillian Overlie (Godfrey), 76, made her way to the coolest casino & bingo hall in the sky on January 28, 2022. This free-spirited lady was born in Duluth, Minnesota but spent most of her later years in Sedona Arizona, owning a small boutique. She loved purple, traveling, reading mysteries, and playing bingo.

Peggy is likely playing bingo with her parents: William & Clara Godfrey; brother Thomas Godfrey; and sisters: Joanne Carroll, Carol Ann Godfrey & Kathy Godfrey.

She is survived by her daughters: Leah (Mark) Mattila and Laurie Englert (Jan Mergen & daughter Rachel); sisters: Mary Ann Allar (partner in crime), Alice Thompson (Daryle Warner), Julie Godfrey; and brother Michael Godfrey; and many nieces and nephews. Peggy also adored and will be missed by her grandchildren: Maddison & Maxwell Englert, Christopher Overlie, & William (Kari) Perry; and great grandchildren: Nevaeh, Lyric and Kali Perry.

A Celebration of Peggy’s Life will be held in the spring
