Dave Alvord
David H. Alvord, 51 Peabody Street, died suddenly Thursday, October 10, 1996, in St. Lukes Hospital.
He was a lifelong Duluth resident, graduating from Denfeld High School and earning a bachelor of science degree from the University of Minnesota – Duluth. He then went on to serve his internship as a medical technologist at St. Lukes Hospital, where he met his wife, Priscilla. David and Priscilla worked in the lab at St. Lukes Hospital for 28 years and, on September 14, also celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary. He was a past member and president of the Jaycees.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Gordon and Eunice Alvord; and two brothers, Gordon Jr. and Steven Alvord. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla; two daughters, Kimberly and Amy, both of Duluth; and a brother, Robert, of Minneapolis.
